This personalised tour gives you a local insight into the romance, ruin and captivating history surrounding the Otways during the time of sail. The tour will show shipwreck relics and cover history about the Cape Otway Lightstation, the 1850s Telegraph station and the WW2 History off Cape Otway. The tours are held within the coastal areas of the Great Otway National Park and be taken to places are not accessible to the general public.
Mark was born and bred in the Otways. As the son of the Lightkeeper at Cape Otway Light House, Mark was raised by the sea absorbing the stories of the Lightkeepers, mariners and experiencing the treasures of the coast and hinterland.
The tour normally takes up to three hours and up to 3 tours per day. Please email Aire Valley Guest House and we will arrange a suitable tour time
