Aire Valley Kitchen and Guest House is situated on the Great Ocean Road, west of Apollo Bay outside the hamlet of Hordern Vale. The homestead dates originally from the 1890s, overlooking the lakes of the Aire River Wildlife Reserve and the Great Otway National Park. The Great Ocean Walk is just 5kms away at Castle Cove, one of the few places where the Great Ocean Walk meets the Great Ocean Road.
The Aire Valley Restaurant specialises in the very best fresh food. Vegetables and herbs are picked from the garden each evening just before dinner. See our youtube video produced by Tourism Victoria.
Come and do the walk in May to July and see why the locals think this is the best time of year to be in the Otways. All Great Ocean Walk Packages can be booked online.

Postcards on Channel 9 recently had a Great Ocean Walk special. Aire Valley Restaurant and Guest House was featured on the program, as we are the only place to stay near the Great Ocean Walk that offers a full a la carte menu each day. We have our own Restaurant garden (about 2 acres of orchards, vegetable and herb gardens.) Suzie Wilks is featured on the Tourism Victoria video.
Aire Valley Restaurant specialises in Great Ocean Walk packages. Gourmet lunches are made each day and salads are picked each morning from the Restaurant garden. We have a new Great Ocean Walk "Winter Walkers" package. Come and do the walk in May to July and see why the locals think this is the best time of year to be in the Otways.

In the Aire Valley Restaurant the focus is on freshness and quality. All our vegetable are organically grown just metres from our restaurant. Food miles are measured in steps. It is very likely that the salad on your plate may only be out of the ground for just a few minutes.
To compliment this we have a selection of beers.
Wines are sourced locally and also from further afield in Victoria.Labels include Peveril, Otway Estate, Dinny Goonan, Tahbilk, Newton's Ridge, Sticks, Otway Estate, Koonara Bay. Aire Valley Restaurant is fully licenced.
