Aire Valley Guest House is a beautiful late Victorian homestead, circa 1890, set in the Otway hills overlooking the Aire River Wildlife Reserve and Lake Costin on the Great Ocean Road. It has been renovated throughout, in keeping with its history and heritage and is set amid 15 acres of land comprising lawns, citrus orchards, grazing paddocks and mature gardens.

In the past 9 years it has been run as a successful Guesthouse. Aire Valley Guest House is close to the beach at Castle Cove, but benefits from a climate free of salt air due to the protective landscape of valleys, hills and dunes. Plant varieties which grow successfully in the mature garden here are roses, camellias, rhododendrons, lemons, limes, grapefruit, cumquats, peaches, apples, olives, kiwifruit and passionfruit.
Within the grounds there is a permanent fresh water spring, a double lock up garage, 8m x 8m glass house, a large shearing shed with sheep pens, presently used as a pony stable and storage for 21,000 gallons of fresh rain water. Sheep-yards are now used to grow herbs and vegetables.
Aire Valley Guest House is in the heart of the Great Otway National Park. The Great Ocean Walk which opened in January 2006 is only a few minutes away and Aire Valley Guest House provides accommodation for walkers throughout the year.
